My vision as an artist is to create music that bridges the old and the new: blending the honesty of traditional Irish influences with the intimacy of contemporary folk, the colour of modern pop, and the instinctive storytelling that has shaped me since childhood. I am deeply inspired by the emotional depth of artists like Tom Waits and Jeff Buckley, the lyrical craft of The Villagers, and the timeless spirit of The Dubliners and Mary Coughlan. These influences guide me as I explore soundscapes that honour Irish musical heritage while carving out fresh, distinctive creative paths.
As a singer-songwriter, I’m driven by a lifelong devotion to connect people, shape stories, and honour tradition. My work has always centred on authenticity, melody, and meaningful collaboration.
Collaboration is at the heart of my practice. Whether writing scores for film, composing for community projects, or working alongside traditional musicians, poets, and emerging artists, I believe music thrives when shared. Living in Roscommon opened a door into Ireland’s vibrant traditional scene—its sessions, storytellers, and culture—and I am committed to contributing to that world through new partnerships, cross-genre experimentation, and projects that celebrate Ireland’s musical identity.
My work is rooted in melody, emotion, and connection. I aim to create songs and soundscapes that resonate with listeners, spark imagination, and bring people together—whether on stage, on screen, or in the community. Above all, I want my music to add colour, honesty, and humanity to the world.
I look forward to continuing this creative journey with fellow artists, collaborators, and audiences who share a passion for craft, culture, and the joy of making music.
